Hi, I'm Matt. I run Need 4 Detailing — a mobile detailing operation that comes to you, anywhere in North Alabama.

I didn't set out to start a business. I started by detailing my own car. I got into it — the difference a real detail makes versus just a wash — and one thing led to another. Now I do it for other people, in their own driveways, all over Huntsville, Madison, Decatur, Athens, Cullman, and Falkville.

What I care about

When I detail a car, I'm not just washing it — I'm protecting it. That means getting into the door jambs, the wheel wells, the trim, all the spots most people never look at. When it's done right, the car doesn't just look clean, it feels clean. You open the door and it's the car you forgot you had.

Straight with you, every time

I'll also tell you when you don't need something. If your carpet's a couple years old and it's clean and you're asking about stain extraction, I'm going to tell you to keep your money. Some cars don't need much more than a light wash — and if that's yours, I'll say so during the estimate and price it that way.

I'd rather be honest and have you come back than pad a bill once. Plenty of places will wash your car down, use a bunch of fancy words, and move on, and you end up spending your money not happy with it. That's not how I do this.

I come to you

The whole point is that you don't go anywhere. You stay home — watch TV, eat dinner, whatever — and your car gets handled right there in the driveway. No dropping it off at a shop, no sitting in a waiting room. All I need from you is an outdoor water spigot and a power outlet. I bring everything else. (It saves you the gas of driving across town, too. Doesn't save me any — but that's my problem, not yours.)

What you can expect

A clean car, inside and out, top to bottom. Someone who tells you the truth about what it needs. And the same guy every time — it's just me, so I know your car, and I'm the one accountable for it.
